Bible Class
“2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.”
The Bible Study helps us to obtain knowledge, or to enable us to confront tests in the life, or even to get ready for the ministry. It is through the Bible Study that we can have communion with him, it is through the Bible Study that we can have intimacy with him and it is through the Bible Study that we can remain in him.
If we as Christians want to effectively minister the Word of God to people we need to know what the Bible actually says. We must test all things, especially when it comes to Scripture. In Acts 17:11, the Bereans searched the Scriptures to see if the things that Paul and Silas were teaching them were true!
This is what the Bible study is all about. Are we just going to believe everything we hear or are we going to be diligent in bible study, searching the Scriptures to discover these truths for ourselves? This is what makes bible study so important.
The goal of Bible study is applying what we have learned in class to our personal life daily. Each week we should try to discover a truth or principle that God can use in our lives. Let what we learn in our class be a vital part of our developing, maturing Christian life. Further, try to see how we can help others apply them to their lives.
Come! Spend time with God through the learning of the Word of God.
